When we left NC, we made a pit stop in Utah to visit the family and friends before our big move to Seattle. While I was there, I was able to get together with my BFF. We've been friends since 1st grade! I love this woman and I wish she lived closer so we could hang out all the time!

I had to privilege to take some family photos for them when we got together.

One Last {NC} Photoshoot

My last photoshoot in North Carolina was with this fine family who I miss A TON already! {A} was one of my running buddies that actually got me to run! YAY!! And my little {E} loved playing with little {A} and his yellow truck. Hehe, ask him about {E}'s special dance :)

It was SOOOO beastly hot and the mosquitoes were out in full force, but we survived!

Did I mention I love this family!

Mr. and Mrs. {V} are delighted to announce...hehe, just kidding. Looks like an engagement picture though, doesn't it?

Little Miss {L}

Remember this little wide awake newborn?

Time flies when you're having fun! Right before we moved, mom had me take some of Little Miss {L}. She was almost 9 months old in these pictures. Took me long enough to post them, I know!

Me and Mom had such a fun time in the heat trying anything and everything to get little {L} to smile. Twice.

Remember this little guy? Yeah, I wasn't joking about Mom having pictures of her kids taken every few months!! The summer has flown by and little {F} is now 6 months.

He's still so happy and smiley.

Little {Princess}

I had the privilege of photographing this little princess when she was less than 1 week old! Surprisingly, the first day we tried to take pictures, little {M} was NOT having any of it! She was more awake than she had ever been. Story of my life with newborn pictures :P So we decided to try again the next day. I'm so glad we did, because {M} was soooo good and sleepy that next day!

Mom had to have a c-section because {M} was breach. I had one too with my little one, and let me tell you, being sliced open REALLY hurts! But, on the upside, your baby doesn't get squished in the birth canal coming out, so they end up having perfect skin when they're born. I didn't have to do any "newborn blotchy skin" touch-ups with {M}.

Look at that adorable squishy face!!

I caught this adorable shot while {M} was stretching and momentarily opened her eyes! What a doll!!

My friend {K} is so on the ball. She has pictures taken of each of her kids every few months. And she gets them printed and on the wall within a few weeks too!!

Today was little {F}'s turn. He was such a happy smiley little guy. I just love this stage. They are smiley and they can't run away :)

Sneak Peak for {S}

Last weekend I had the privilege of taking some pictures for a fellow {future} nurse friend. Yay nurses!! {S} just graduated on Saturday and will be starting work later this summer.

This adorable pair were such troopers! Hiking around in the itchy daisies was hard work, but they did great!

We tried our best to get some real smiles out of {J}, but even the "poo-poo" jokes weren't working! Good thing he has an adorable "fake" smile!!

{N} was a natural!

Sweet Little Lexi Loo

I had to privilege of hanging out with this sweet little pumpkin and her parents last weekend. Little Lexi is already a month old and she was pretty awake during our most of our session, but we did manage to get her into a deep sleep for about half an hour.

Mom did such a great job decorating the nursery! I wish I would have taken more pictures of it!!

The Perfect Spring Day...

Everything is in full bloom here, and my friend "H" wanted to take advantage of it, so we made a quick Saturday morning trip to the Arboretum to take some family pictures. I'm so glad we did!! The flowers were absolutely gorgeous!

And the family too!

Little "H" was such a natural in front of the camera. Love it!

Dad is not a big fan of the nakey baby pictures (which I'm still trying to wrap my head around!!!), so we tried to get pictures of {J} fully clothed to appease Dad.

But we did manage to sneak in a couple {half}-nakey pictures :)

And this next one is just too cute:

Dad loves baseball and can't wait to hit the ball around with his little slugger!

A Few of My Own Sweetie!

My own little sweetie pie turned 2 not too long ago and I finally got around to take some pictures of him. We had a glorious weekend, so I had to take advantage. This little man sure gave me a workout, but I managed to get a few good shots. 2 year olds are wild!!!! Well, atleast mine!

...that's what we had to do today to try to get little Miss {C} to sit still for 2 seconds and look at the camera. Who can blame her, though? It was cold and I'm quite boring :P

Meet the {M} Family. What a beautiful family!! Can you believe this GORGEOUS lady has had 4 kids?!? {C}, I'm so jealous!

It has been raining all week here, so I was a little worried we'd have to cancel our session today, but we finally got some sunshine this afternoon just in time for our photo session.

I took this fine family's photos last weekend and it was a piece of cake! It's amazing how much easier it is to take pictures of families that have older kids! When you say look at the camera...they actually ALL look at the camera! No jumping up and down or silly noises need!

Sneak Peak for {G} Family

Today I met up with my friend {T} and her family at one of my favorite locations for some family pictures. The place was crawling with people, brides, and photographers this afternoon!! It was crazy!!

But we were able to find a couple places away from the crowds.

The kiddos were so well behaved! After the first few pictures, I jokingly said, "Well, I got what I needed. We're done!"

Little Mr. {A}

This handsome little man is turning 3 next week, so his mommy wanted a few birthday pictures. Mom knew the smiles wouldn't come out without a little coaxing...so the bucket of Halloween candy was brought along!
